France is open to British Skiers again!

Update 13th January 2022

France open to British Skiers

As of Friday 14th January the French Government is allowing British Tourists to travel to France (test restrictions apply).

The tourism minister Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne has today announced that restrictions will be lifted and fully-vaccinated travellers will no longer need to provide the essential nature of their trip. Arrivals from the UK will no longer need to quarantine.

Unvaccinated people will only be able to travel if they can demonstrate that their trip is essential.

All travellers will need to provide a negative Covid test taken in the previous 24 hours.

The rules will come into effect on Friday, January 14th.

Further details will be released later today!

Health Pass Requirements

For those vaccinated in the UK – the NHS vaccination codes are only valid for 30 days and since the deactivation programme began, the Tous Anti Covid app deactivates expired NHS codes, meaning that those vaccinated in the UK must download a new NHS code every 30 days and add it to the French app in order to keep their pass working. (We have had clients experience this in the past month).
