BASS CHAMONIX
BASS Chamonix covers the following areas: Chamonix Valley (Brevent/Flegere/Le Tour/Grands Montets/Les Houches) and Evasion Mont Blanc (Saint Gervais/Megeve/Les Contamines).
Our Private Lessons are designed for those individuals or groups (6 max) who would like to utilise the advantages of having their own coach for specific and individual tuition. These are available each day of the week & weekends and can be run in any of the 5 ski areas of the Chamonix/Les Houches Valley and in Les Contamines/Saint Gervais/Megeve (pre booking essential).
Having your own coach means we can design the lesson/s specifically for you and/or your group so that everyone is provided with the best progression possible. Please provide as much information about the individuals when making your enquiry so that our team can be ready to perform to their best with you.
Prices listed below are for tuition only.
Prices 2024/25
2 hours - 1-4 people £195 (€230)
3 hours - 1-4 people £265 (€310) 5-6 people£320 (€375)
Whole day - 1-4 people £450 (€515), 5-6 people £515 (€578)
Further Details
Meeting the instructor - We will endeavour to make your meeting place most suitable to your accommodation and/or the best terrain available for your lesson requirements. All clients must make their own travel to the meeting point, a free bus service is available throughout the valley. Your instructor will text you the evening beforehand and meet you at the meeting place on the meeting sheet emailed to you the week prior to your first lesson. This sheet will also contain your instructors contact details.
Lift Pass - ChamPass* or Mont Blanc Unlimited Ski Pass or the Rapid Card (pay as you go and you get the best rate available for what you use!). Enquire on booking. *Please note the ChamPass does not cover the ski are of Les Houches which we often need to use if the weather is not suitable higher up the Valley (ask us before purchasing this pass).
Required Equipment - Piste skis with a carved shape for a piste focused lesson or all mountain skis for variable/off piste lessons (not too long or fat as that makes it more difficult to make changes to your skills). We recommend all clients wear ski helmets.
Insurance - You are required to have Winter Sports travel Insurance with piste (and off piste if doing that terrain) rescue insurance (additional insurance can be purchased with your lift pass on purchase if you require it). Please ensure you read our booking conditions carefully.
Group Courses
We also offer public group courses that can be done stand alone or integrated into a seasonal programme for you. Email us for a bespoke programme.
