ADVANCED JUNIOR COURSES

BASS CHATEL

These courses are for children who have skied for 5 - 10 weeks, normally run on Red and Black runs as well as bumps and off Piste. Some time will be spent on blue runs where skills are developed. Thes courses will include some freestyle bumps skiing and Off Piste depending on what is available at the time.

Our group lessons are high quality small groups, for most learners a small group lesson is the ideal learning environment, many learning processes are more effective in samll teams rather than one to one. It also creates more opportunity to be interactive make new friends and have a lot more fun. Whilst a private lesson (one to one) can be more effective in some situations, it is more often, not the best learning environment. In our children's group lessons we have a maximum of 8 per group as children learn in a more interactive way and in a less cognitive way.

Junior Red

For chilren who have skied for 5 weeks + and are able to ski on red runs, able to make parallel turns on blue runs.

All Mountain

For Children who have skied 6 weeks + and are able to ski red runs confidently and make parallell turns on red runs. All Mountain means all mountain and it will include bumps and off Piste as well as some frestyle. We reccomend people who attend this course have a full Porte Du Soleil ski pass to allow them to go on an adventure further afield.
