Why the course is awesome:

-        They operate in only the finest resorts i.e., the Three Valleys! If you’re going to spend 11 weeks training and qualifying, it may as well be in the world’s largest ski area.

-        It’s 11 weeks, fully catered in an actual holiday chalet… Basically, imagine what you get if you cross: a chalet holiday X organised fun X life-changing qualifications X your future best mates!

-        The long course runs from January to March. This means you can have Christmas home (unlike a lot of ski season jobs) and that you have the choice to stay out in resort for the sunny, BBQ-filled month of April.

-        They also run an early-season, 10-day training course to achieve BASI Level 1, in December.

-        SnowSkool pride themselves in supreme organisation & behind-the-scenes wizardry before/during/after the course. You won’t have to worry about sorting transport, what to pack, season pass, accommodation, training schedule, exam booking, work experience, weekend activities, supplementary courses and plenty more.

-        In total, the long course amasses around 115 hours of expert tuition, 70 hours of ski-school work experience, the five-day BASI Level 1 exam, the 10-day BASI Level 2 exam, a two-day first aid course, a ½ day child protection module, an avalanche awareness course and a ski tuning workshop… and the odd spot of après to keep the social wheels greased!
