The SnowSkool ski instructor course involves 11 weeks of ski instructor training by expert ski instructors from BASS (British Alpine Ski School) in The Three Valleys - the world’s favourite (and planet earth’s biggest) ski area. Alongside forty-something other like-minded people on the course, you will live in one of a number of lovely chalets close to Méribel Centre and be looked after by your own chalet host.

Where better to spend 11 weeks perfecting your skiing than the Three Valleys?! By visitor numbers, this is the world’s most popular ski area as well as the largest with 600km of pistes connecting up the resorts of Courchevel, Les Menuires, Val Thorens and ... the best of them all ... Méribel! And, during the season, you will experience every type of terrain – on-piste, off-piste, in the Park and on the race-course - and train in all the snow condition required to make you into a bona fide expert skier! Off-piste, Méribel has an excellent infrastructure with fantastic shops, a wide range of restaurants and one of the best apres scenes in the Alps. And you will be living right in amongst it all; over the course of 11 weeks, you will stay in one of SnowSkool’s catered ski chalets in Méribel ... chalets are located close to Méribel Centre and all bedrooms are en-suite. Not only that but you will have your own chalet host to look after you!

BASS and SnowSkool

SnowSkool has been operating ski courses in the Three Valleys since 2007 and is the market leader in this space and so it is clear why they chose BASS to deliver the ski instructor training! All BASS ski instructors are qualified to the highest level in the BASI system and all instructors assigned to the SnowSkool programme are BASI-approved examiners. Alongside being an expert Ski School, we are specialists in training-up the ski instructors of the future. The SnowSkool/ BASS course has been designed to allow you to pass the Level 1 & Level 2 BASI instructor exams. BASI is amongst the elder statesmen of ski instructing and remains, today, one of the most highly regarded organisations in Snowsports instructing. Over the course of the 11 week SnowSkool course, you will receive expert daily training from BASS instructors, 70 hours of work experience within the BASS Ski School, the opportunity to sit the BASI Level 1 & Level 2 exams as well as extra qualifications such as First-Aid and Child Protection in Sports & Leisure. BASS Mentors combine their years of experience with the latest training techniques – on-snow and online.
