What a View! Name this ski slope.
You know how much we enjoy sharing the magnificent views of the Mont Blanc range we get from Les Gets and you might be expecting one from us today, as early snow has been falling over the past week.
BASS teachers Murray and Kate have just returned from a season ‘down under’ in New Zealand but still found time to get out onto their local dry ski slope this weekend.
The slope is Hillend and the magnificent view is over the city of Edinburgh.
Many of our team at BASS have a lot to thank dry ski slopes for in our journey to becoming internationally qualified ski instructors.
Roy says: “I had my first ski lesson in the pouring rain at Aberdeen dry slope, my parents couldn’t get me off the slope and although soaking wet, I loved it”
For Becs it was the perfect teaching environment for a novice instructor before moving to the mountains. “I would never have gained enough experience to reach the level I have without the hours spent on my local dry slope, Warley in Essex.”
Whether you choose a dry slope or snow dome, we highly recommend getting a few turns under your belt before heading out to the Alps this winter.
