Tom received this amazing Facebook write up after a session he delivered this week, it was so good we had to share it…., here’s the story in full:

What’s been happening?! Well, Steph has once again reminded me of how her determination overcomes everything in her path. Two years ago she was left in tears after a few “interesting” ski lessons. She decided skiing wasn’t for her and that was that. I begged her and managed a few times to get her out, although my lessons where a bit unorthodox (morning sips on the hip flask followed by a vague, but rewarding day out). I was sharing this story around a bar table on a ski run this week. Tom from BASS Morzine & Les Gets heard it and said, “she came back from a ski lesson upset?!”. He was furious. He quickly opened his phone and said “what is she doing on Monday at 11:30, let me take her out”. Now I knew Steph wouldn’t be into this, so I said yes and then figured out how to talk Steph around it, which is the story of our life
She reluctantly agreed and we made our way up to the meeting point this morning. I left her with Tom and blasted around the mountain. I was so worried about her, hoping Tom was the real deal. I stood at the meeting point, 10 minutes before her lesson was over, patiently waiting for a glimpse of her coming down the mountain. I then spotted her. It wasn’t her controlled speed or perfectly timed turns that caught my eye. It was her. It was the Steph I know and love, the Steph that relishes new experiences and appreciates the moment she is in. She was happy and she owned it. It’s a moment I will be forever grateful for.
Tom really did an amazing job and for 2022, I am going to be more like Tom. Igniting a passion in people and helping to create the sparks that generate fire. Let’s all get comfortable with being uncomfortable at times. 2022, I’m owning you
