Andy has been a long standing member of the BASS Team and his calm, enthusiastic approach is loved by all.
Why Ski with ANDY?
Andy is one of the most enthusiastic and genuinely lovely people you could ever hope to meet, he has a depth of knowledge and ability to communicate that allows him to condense complex issues into one simple point that solves everything.
And, his calm approach is loved by all, he really is as comfortable giving technical input to excellent skiers as he is providing reassurance and confidence building to nervous skiers.
He really does enjoy the challenge of coaching people and enabling them to develop.
A very talented skier, he loves the deep and steep and is often found on his telemark skis or snowboard when not skiing his alpine gear. He recently retired his status as BASI Trainer after many years of Training British Ski Instructors , he has a depth of knowledge and understanding that will make what is often complex simple.
Andy is incredibly versatile on snow, he is a BASI Alpine & Telemark Trainer, holds his International Snowboard qualification (ISIA) and is a qualified and experienced Adaptive Instructor!
About ANDY
Andy also enjoys the finer things in life, in particular fine wines and fine dining.
Andy is a long standing BASI Trainer, with responsibilities to train and assess instructors coming through the British system, he is often running instructor training and courses in the Portes du Soleil, around Europe and even China!
Outside skiing, he spends his summers on waterski lakes, skiing and wakeboarding. He even took the BASS team barefoot waterskiing one summer as part of our "Learn something new" initiative.
